Seventeen magazine did page about timeless pieces in fashion in their September issue and the four pieces that were talked about were pearl necklaces, the little black dresses, oversize black tote bags, and trench coats. The one that caught my eye the most was the trench coat because that is 1 out 2 of the things mentioned that I don't have, the other being the oversize black tote. I found a really cute one at Forever 21.com, I hope I can find it in stores though (usually when something comes out on the website, it already came out in stores).

Look-A-Like: Anna Sui & Daiso

Yesterday was designer Anna Sui's birthday! So happy birthday Anna Sui!

So you remember my compact mirror obsession a while back. It was actually started by Anna Sui's mirrors. I just love the glossy black color of the mirrors and the rose patterns. Butt he one thing is that they are pretty expensive, about $25 for 1 compact mirror! But I would still look for them because I think they are just so pretty! But not just the mirrors, her combs, makeup cases all have that black rose print.

So when I went to Daiso a while back, I remember seeing similar mirrors that looked very similar to the Anna Sui ones but dirt cheap, like $1.50, $3, or $4. But I didn't buy one of them because they weren't foldable like I wanted but more like hand mirrors. But now I totally regret it and I hope I can go back to Daiso as soon as I can, which might be a while because it is a little far from me.
I haven't seen this one in person yet, but it has a rose and is folding so it has hope for my liking. It's probably $1.50.
This is the bigger version of the hand mirror I saw and this one was $3. I If I was going to get a hand mirror, I would get this one, but I already have so, I'll think about it.

I shouldn't call this a look-a-like either, but I don't know how else I could put it. What do a female Korean idol group and a male Japanese group have in common? One thing is the backgroud in one of their MVs.

In NEWS' Akaku Moyuru Taiyou/紅く燃ゆる太陽/Burning Red Sun music video there is the polka dot background where they play around in.

I just discovered Coastal Scents' 88 Makeup Palette and 78 Makeup Palettes today through random makeup videos on Youtube. So I looked further on these and I really want at least one of them now!

This is the 78 Piece Makeup Palette that's $18.95+shipping from Coastal Scents. There are 60 eye shadows, 6 blushes, and 12 highlighting and liner shades. I think I would get this palette if I had to choose between the 3 mentioned in this post because I am a beginner at makeup and this has more variety, not just eye shadow, but also blush and highlighters.

All Over the Place

That's where I havent been so far this summer, I've been nowhere special, yet. But this post will be all over the place as I write down whats happened since my last post. Hmm, I'm feeling quite list-y.

-I finally got a haircut. Not the shoulder length bob, but just re-layering and a trim. I kinda regret because once again, my ends are sticking up and its too thinned out at my neck. Hopeully it will grow out soon. The bangs I'm quite satisfied with it but can get into my eyes.

-I finally found and went to Daiso California. Turns out it was closer then I thought. I bought an eyelash curler that fit my eye (But the padded curling part is crooked. Oh well that's what I get for $1.50), two packs of stickers to stickerfy my phone, and a compact mirror. Not that much, I hope I can go back soon.

-I got Boys Over Flowers on DVD! And...it was $6 at Soyodo! Most likely pirated. It was kid of a waste though, since I was already on episode 23 when I got it, but the episodes were broken on http://www.mysoju.com/ so I decided to get it.

-My dance recital was on Saturday. I had 2 shows. 2 dances in the first show (1 tap and 1 jazz) and 3 dances in the second show (2 tap and 1 jazz). My parents only went to the first show and taped my dances...the ones I messed up in. And the show my parents didn't watch and film I did great on! I didn't mess up on anything! Now I have 2 costumes I have no idea what to do with. I can use the pants from my tap dance costume as pajamas, my friend suggested. And as for the big pink skirt for my '80s/jazz dance, Halloween costumes anyone?

-I helped out at my church's VBS. This actually happened before my last post but I don't know why I neer mentioned it. But I did, and I never regret helping out every year and the week before to help decorate. The kids are all so cute!

-I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I mean who didn't? And I realized I forgot a lot from the book. But so did the movie. I still liked it though. I went shopping after, the movie theater just being a few feet from the mall and I bought a pair of gold sandals.

-I actually read the books that were mandatory for summer reading. I'd never thought I could bring myself to read books that weren't about teenage romance or vampires over the summer. Just kidding. but these books seemed kind of, just kind of boring. So far, I finished The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I am half way through The Distand Land of My Father by Bo Caldwell and a few chapters into The Bookseller of Kabul by Asne Seierstad.

-It's the top 8 of So You Think You Can Dance. I can't wait to see this weeks dances and Ellen Degeneres judging as it is the 100th episode of SYTYCD! I also want to go see the tour. It just happens to stop at the sity where I live! I hope I can go, I still haven't asked my parents about it though.

Shoulder Length Bob

So I have pondering whether I should get a haircut for summer because my hair has gotten pretty long.

And at first I wanted to keep the style I had, layers and sideswept bangs, but just to fix my bangs and get a trim. I tried to find pictures of celebrities with my hairstyles but no luck, you'll just have to use your imagination. The length of my hair is to about my armpit, the bangs are to the left and my hairline is about to the middle of my right eye. The layers start at my chin/jaw area and are seperated into about 3 or 4 layers.

But then I thought of getting a shoulder length bob, thanks to pictures from the internet of Nicole Richie and her gorgeous haircut. I realy like her haircut, but I don't know whether it would look good on me, and how it would grow out. It would just grow out to be a straight-across kind of style, which I really don't want after the bob.

So what do you think, should I go with the haircut or just get the same-old, fix my bangs and layer my hair again. I really need your help on this, I can't decide!

Unique Collaboration

I had to go to Borders to get some of the books for my mandatory summer reading list (Yes, it sucks.). So while I was in line waiting to pay, I noticed all the cool things Borders always has like cute little bookmarks, chocolates, wind-up toys, Moleskine notebooks, and candy. I usually don't pay attention to those things but today I found something that reminded me of my recent past in 2 ways. Guess what it was. I bet you can't, it's a tin of mints, but not regular mints...not at all.

The tin was a tokidoki tin! That reminded me of my past wantings of tokidoki for LeSportsac bags. But gosh, I never got 1 because they were just so expensive. I pondered about getting a fake one in Chinatown when I was in New York City, but it didn't look that nice (It was a fanny pack) and it was pretty expensive, even with my Asian haggling skills, for a fake bag. Then at the mall that I usually go to, there is a stand outside of the Sanrio store, that also had fake tokidoki bags, but that stand put really high prices for everything! So I didn't get. But now I have something that's tokidoki, authentic I hope!

I didn't discover the second thing until I opened the tin to see what it looked like. Inside was a mirror! I can't really explain so I will let you look at it for yourself at their official website, www.littlei.com. So how it related tomy recent past, so as you know since the beginning of 8th grade year for me, I have been wanting a little compact mirror, that was also unique. So I looked everywhere, and now when I wasn't looking I got one! It looks really sturdy too.

But I sure hope the tokidoki & Little i Mirror Mints collaboration is authentic because I didn't see anything in both of their website about this collaboration between them 2, so that means no pictures to show, boohoo!

Oh yes, by the way, the tin of mints was $5, a bit pricey for just a tin of mints, I thought at first, but I bought it anyway and I'm glad I did.

So You Think You Can Dance

So as a dancer, it was instinct for me to watch FOX's So You Think You Can Dance! Why am I finally telling you this? Because BoA's English song, "Did Ya" was featured in it. Asuka Kondoh danced to it to save herself from getting eliminated from the show because she and Vitolio (her partner) got the 3 lowest number of votes. She rocked in the dance if I could say so myself.

5 Romeos & Juliette

So if you know me, you would know that I dreaded SHINee's comeback because of the song Juliette, but after watching some of their performances on KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core, and SBS Inkigayo, I have realized that their performances are more than just the copied song. I love the dance, and now obviously I am not dreading their performances.

They just released their dance MV, which is all dance, no annoying Krystal Jung or Transformer-esque masks, just all dance. I watched it and now I want to learn the dance.

They are so in sync and together. They are very "charasmatic", but because of that"charisma" I like watching SHINee performances more than anybody else. they always give it their best and they never look tired.

So enough of my praising SHINee, I bet you want to watch the dance MV for SHINee's Juliette! They are all amazing but you should look out for Taemin, he is by far the best.

Forever 21

Also on the shopping trip today, I went to Forever 21. There were 3 things that I saw on the website that I wanted to buy. At the store I didn't find any of them, I have been walking out of Forever 21 empty-handed and pretty disappointed lately.

I need a compact mirror, and I really liked the rose, so I waited...and waited for it to be in stock, but I never saw it in stock at the store. I went to two different stores for it and still nothing.
I wanted this tank because...this might sound crazy...Sohee and Ye Eun of the Wonder Girls are on it! Ye Eun is the one standing the most to the left, and Sohee is the one standing in the center. For the pictures of the girls in that pose and clothes, go to http://www.allkpop.com/ and look through the archives, it's not that old. So I went twice and still no tank top.
I wanted this shirt simply because it had a heart and it had Snoopy. My friend and I have been wanting a Snoopy shirt since the celebrity endorsements (Super Junior, Big Bang, maybe SHINee) for the Korean brand Nii (www.nii.co.kr). Same thing, I went to the same store twice and no shirt.

I might try the stores again for the 3 things above, if I don't find them I might just have to order it online, which I really don't like to do.

...to Aeropostale! Today I went to the mall to return the pair of sandals I bought. I thought I was going to buy a bigger size of the same style of sandals but I decided not to. So when my mom was looking at plates and pots at a store, I snuck to Aeropostale because I had nothing else to do and it was close by. I haven't been in Aeropostale in a long time, not as many things fit my taste now, because they are mostly screen Ts and hoodies. But as I was walking around the store, a few things caught my eye. I think the main influence of the new need for the not-as-casual-as-t-shirts-but-still-pretty-casual kind of shirts are from Hollister Co. and Abercrombie & Fitch, stores that I also haven't been to in a while. But I recently went on a shopping/mall trip with my friends and re-fell in love with the clothes at Hollister Co. and Abercrombie & Fitch.
This was the only top I bought today. I needed more of the not-as-casual-as-t-shirts-but-still-pretty-casual kind of shirts. I realy like the plum color of the top and the ribbon and stitching near the buttons.
I liked the ties on the side but not the fake tank top underneath so I put it back. But still, an honorable mention.
I liked the flowery lace where the bottons are on this shirt but I didn't want white and the only other color was brown so I didn't get it. I also don't know what I would wear underneath of it because it seems really loose.

Bath & Body Works' Pocketbac Hand Gel
This stuff not only smells good, it also kills germs! I don't know how much more expensive it is than other hand sanitizers but it doesn't smell like alcohol whenyou rub it in (Does that mean it does not haveas much germ killing ingredients?). It was also five Pocketbacs for $5. They are really tiny, and I will admit that it is a little expensive, but before it was like $1.50/Pocketbac! That would be $7.50! I saved $2.50! Pretzels

Not the cracker kind, the soft bread kind you find at the mall! I usually don't eat pretzels at the mall, but today I just had to get one, or two! Pretzel dogs to be exact. One for breakfast and one for lunch. I have never ealized how good they were. I am getting hungry from just writing about it. I want another one!

I got a new pair of flip-flops and Old Navy today. I really wnated a pair of fancier flip-flops and the rubber ones I always love. Celebrity Look-A-Like: Aaron Yan & Jung Ui Chul

My friends and I were talking one day about songs that made us cry before, and my friend said this song. We started singing it, and she changed her AIM status to "somehow find you and i collide :D" This song didn't leave as much of a mark as the other two songs did though.

8282 by Davichi

This song caught my attention when Isak sang "Give me a call, baby baby," during Pops in Seoul when she was talking about celebrities calling other celebrities to be featured in the songs. So she wanted to do it too so she sang it. Later that day, that one phrase that Isak sang was so stuck in my head that I decided to find the whole song. So I guessed it was 8282 by Davichi and I got it right. Then I requested it at S Radio Club, and the song got played less than one minute after I requested. Thanks DJ K!!

I just clicked this video (on Youtube) in the related videos when I was finished listening to 8282 for the 20th time ina row. I immediately fell in love with this song, but I wouldn't really recommend the MV. Even though the English makes me laugh, I still love this song.

So after trying 1 out of the 3 dresses I mentioned in my previous post about a graduation outfit, I have decided that I would not buy any of them because I am pear shaped which means when I tried on one of the dresses, if the "skirt" part of the dress fit, then the "top" would be too big for me. I like all of them, I really don't have a favorite out of all of these. I hope I can go to Forever 21 and get one of these tops, and exchange the pair of pants I got...again.
I got too small of a size the first time, and I was in too much of a rush to go to the changing rooms, and then I went back and exchanged it for a bigger size, and now its too big. I have to dance in it and it needs to be the right size. So another reason for me to go to Forever 21!

S Radio Club

S Radio Club formerly known as Soompi Radio Club, plays mostly Korean songs, but you can also listen to an occasional Mandarin, Japanese, Cantonese, or even English song. I just found this online radio station because my friend was telling me about it and stories of her requesting songs on it. So I decided to give it a try. I went to http://www.soompiradio.com/, and signed up. I listen to it on my iTunes and now it's up to 110 plays. I have only requested once and that was with DJ Nugu but he got to my request (Balloons-TVXQ/DBSK) right after the song before finished playing. Then I told my friend who then also requested another DBSK/TVXQ song (Wrong Number). He played that as well. You should give it a try!

Boys Over Flowers

Before I started watching this Korean drama, I was wondering what all the hype was about. Now I understand what it was about. Kim Bum! Just Kidding. But it is a worthy drama to be watching, I don't think it matches up with all the hype, but it's not a disappointment like *cough* 2NE1's debut performance on SBS Inkigayo. I am on episode 6 right now!

Dresses

I don't know, but lately I have been looking at dresses more and more often lately. Maybe because I have the Last Dance (a formal dance at my school, that only happens once a school year) and graduation! I have my Last Dance dress and I'm still looking for my graduation dress.

So for the people who have heard SHINee's new song called Juliette have you thought that it sounded like another song but you couldn't quite grasp which one? Me too. Graduation is coming (13 days to be exact) so it's time to find a graduation dress! I like the the bow belt but not the collar on the 3rd one. I like the skirt but not the "shirt" on the 1st one. I like the "shirt" but not the simpleness of the skirt on the 2rd one. The least expensive one is the 2rd one, then the 1st one, and the most expensive is the 3rd one. If I had to pick one of the 3, I would prbably pick the 2nd one; cheap, cute, and it looks the most like the one I was picturing in my head.

Last week I missed Grey's Anatomy, my favorite, favorite show. So my friend told me to watch it on http://www.abc.com/. I just wathed it and it's absolutely amazing. The quality (I watched it in HD) is amazing! The advertisements are shorter too! The only thing I thought was a little annoying was that it lagged everytime I changed it to full screen and back, but that might be from my internet connection. But I thought it was so clear overall.

Dancing with the Stars

Anybody watch this show too? Last time I actually watched the whole season for DwtS was season 1, but I have been watching snippets of almost every season. this season, I think, has people that are extremely good at dancing and then people that aren't. But I still watch it, because it's a dance show.

Super Junior

Haha, I'm such and e.l.f! Well, this is always on my passions list, but today I thought they were extra special. Every since their 3rd album (yayy!), they have been going on more and more variety shows! That's pretty typical for all k-pop stars because they want to promote their new CD but it's Super Junior, the funniest people on variety shows. I have lists of what to watch already, I JUST NEED SOMEONE TO SUB THEM!!! Come show that I want to watch are We Got Married (episode 50, Kangin & Yoonji cuts) and Let's Sleep Here Tonight/Let Me Sleep Here Tonight.

My School Friends

Leaving them is going to be the hardest thing for me this whole year, it evens beats out science fair projects, research reporst, everything. Sorry, I'm quite annoying when I get really really excited about something. Before it was Gee, now it's Super Junior's 3rd album! They just released their teaser music video, and I thought I should post it, just because. So here it is. It's so different from their past styles, but I guess everybody's style is changing with every album depending on what te trend is. Im guessing the trend is electronic sounding, techno, with lots of repetiveness. Examples of that trend are BoA's I did it For Love, SNSD's Gee, and Super Junior's Sorry, Sorry.

I couldn't find good pictures of Taeyeon, partly because I didn't want to but, doesn't Key (farthest right, top picture) look like Taeyeon with his wig on? I sure think so, so does my friend. The brand is 59 Seconds, a Hong Kong Brand, and it is about 50% off. Do you think that's a good deal? Should I buy it? The problem is that everyone knowws that I am a very casual girl. Speaking of Korean celebrities, I think almost every celebrity in South Korea has had plastic surgery. I applaud those who didn't. I want to be like those who never had plastic surgery if I ever become a celebrity.What's the point? People are special because they don't look like each other (well except for identical twins) and they should keep it that way. You were born an original, why try to change it.

But then plastic surgery could be like braces. Almost everyone has braces. I guess it depends on your perspective. I guess the main point is to not go overboard with the plastic surgery. Or else you'll look like an alien.

Everything Right Now

How was everyone's Valentine's Day yesterday? I didn't do anything. The closest I got to love was in I'm Sorry I Love You that I was watching almost all day. So I just wanted to fill you guys in with what's happening with me right now. Well not really. Nothing is happening. I have Presidents Day, not week, day off. That's what you get for going to private school, a lot less breaks than public schools.

I think my style of clothing has changed. I actually want it to change. I used to wear a lot of graphic t-shirts that cost like $10 a piece. I've become smarter and have not really looked at stores like Aeropostale, or American Eagle which I used to really liked to shop at. The things there, if not on sale, were pretty expensive. I guess it was just the brand that I was into, not the clothes. Now I look back and wonder why I bought a few pieces of clothing from thoses stores. At some point I think the name brand and the annoying saegull or moose or eagle on the side of your shirts just make them even more annoying! Well, anyway I really like to shop at Forever 21 and Love Culture now. I like the styles there and they aren't that expensive. My style has changed to be more focused on accessories like right now I really like scarves because it's kind of cold.

I am awaiting the comeback of Super Junior as a whole. No more subgroups please! 4 is more than enough. But I know of course Father SM will indeed bring on more subgroups. I wonder what the concept is this time. I hope they don't look like what they looked like when they did Don't Don. I mean, I love that song and the dance, but those hairstyles have got to go.

I'm addicted to the Gee dance, as you know. I have most of it. I don't know where my not liking of SNSD started. Was it the many scandals or Jessica or the big dirty mouth of Tiffany? Or is it the fact that they can't perforem live most of the time? Sorry, just not to my liking. And that crazy Soshi fan that stabbed an Elf. I'll admit Elf are a bit crazy enough but stabbing them? That's just...stupid Korean fandom, no obssession to a dangerous state. After loking at some of their before debut pictures has given me so much confidence in succeeding if I audition for SM Entertainment because some of them look so different! It's crazy, you think people might be born like that, but nope it's all thanks to plastic surgery.

I'm really impressed at FT Island and there comeback on SBS Inkigayo. Song Seung Hyun (I think that's his name, right?) is really stepping up to the spot of Wonbin. I love how they used Vivaldi's Winter in the intro for Mising U, it's truly really beautiful.

Just 2 more days until Christmas, and I'm not done with gifts yet! Oh well, I'll just get them gifts after Christmas. Anyway, I haven't posted in a while, sorry about that. It's day 2 of winter break now and I went to Michael's to get charms to finish a bracelet which is also a gift to someone. I hope she will like it when I give it to her on Christmas Day.

I'm ordering my friend a TVXQ! music book for piano on www.yesasia.com because she loves 1. TVXQ! 2. piano. When I first saw it, I was like Ohmygoshhh, I have to give it to her! I'm still looking for something I should buy on www.yesasia.com, but TVXQ!'s Vol. 4 Mirotic version C "unclean" version is sold out and I don't want the "clean" version because it's really stupid how "I got you under my skin..." is dirty. But I want to order a pair of boots on www.yesstyle.com, but I doubt my parents would let me. I even measured my feet and everything. T_T I guess I'll keep looking at both sites.

After Michael's, I went to Soyodo to replenish my drama collection, which is like 3. I got Goong T, a Super Junior-T spin-off of Gong S, I believe. But actually it was all of Idol World. I was so surprised that it came in like drama format. After all, the "drama" part of it wasn't even half of the whole thing. I' m a bit disappointed that it wasn't Chinese dubbed, it even said so on the box and the DVD. So even though I watched it already, it was kind of confusing as my Chinese skills are not very good.

My YG (hehe, not Big Bang's agency, YG= youth group) and I went somewhere for our month of December/Christmas outing. It was fun, especially Rock Band with friends on EASY! We went to Christmas in the Park, while it was still raining. But I loved it. I'm still very confused about something though.

I finished Fated to Love You today, the ending was cute but it fell short of my expectations. The whole later half of the drama fell short of my expectations but overall, it was a really cute drama.

This is turning out to be a very boring Thanksgiving. Not to mention, I have a history presentation on Wednesday and I completely have no idea of the siginificance of my topic. But let's start on a kind of happy note.

I got my Super Show DVD yesterday in the mail, after I came home from watching Twilight with some friends. Twilight was okay. I thought it would have been better since the books were so captivating. The Super Show DVD was great. There were more songs being lip-synched than I thought but those were the songs they danced really heavily in like Don't Don and Twins (Knock Out). It was really touching to hear elf sing almost the whole song and to see the member of Super Junior in tears of joy and thankfulness. I was singing too ^.^

Even if it's Thanksgiving today, we should be thankful everyday.

It's been more than a month since I last posted and I apologize for that. I have ben really busy lately and I still am, I just decided to go on and post a short little note. I ordered the Super Show DVDs! Finally, I didn't get the package with the poster in tube. Before I was, but the poster wasn't that good looking. I would have preferred the original one that's out of print already. Well, at least I get something. :)

I have this new obsession with Kim Jeong Hoon ever since like yesterday. I was watching Goong, and then I just thought: Wow, he's such a good actor and he's really cute >.< So now I want to watch Witch Yoo Hee, which I might be able to borrow from my friend. But I might not because of her little sisters and pfft their little grudges against the pretty ones. (inside joke XD) I hope they will, and get over their little grudges.

And Epik High! Wow their new mini-album Lovescream is so much softer than they usually are! But I still love it, especially 1 Minute 1 Second. Tablo is even writing a book. He's went to Stanford with in an English literature major. Amazing, his English, obviously has no accent at all. But the accent is cute sometimes, haha.

The DVDs for Super Junior's Super Show which was on 2/22/08 in the Seoul Olympic Park are going to be out on 10/2/08. You can preorder them on http://www.yesasia.com/. There are two versions, one with a folded poster and one with the same poster in a tube. The CDs an everything else are the same. The folded poster version is $34.99 which is $10 less than the one with the poster in the tube which is $44.99, but protection for the poster is best, I guess. I would rather put up a nice un folded poster than a folded one because it looks prettier. The problem is I don't know whatthe poster looks like. If it looks like the posters sold by itself of Super Show (which I wanted to buy before) then, I'll go with the tube. If it's some cheappy looking one, probably not.

In this picture, you can't really see it so I'll describe it for you. The fat panda is lying on its tummy and it has a big white bow on top. The eyes of the panda look exactly like the eyes on the hood.

Opening Ceremony

No I'm not writing about how great and magnificient the opening ceremony was. It would have been all that if there wasn't fake singing and fireworks.

Remember the little girl in the red dress singing a song? Well turns out that the little girl in red was just there for show. The little girl who really sang the song was not shown because she was not "pretty" enough. Does that tell you about China's thoughts on outer image. Not even a slighty chubby little girl with crooked teeth can sing a song on a stage.

And remember the 29 footprints that led to the Birds Nest? Yea, I thought that was pretty cool until...I found out that the footprints that viewers saw on TV were digitally done. They really had the 29 footprints but broadcasted something fake. That's right, fake!

I thought China had changed into a better country. Ever since the Olympics, they have tried immensely to reduce pollution, stop people from spitting, and built so many new buildings. But not even an honest opening ceremony, that's pretty low.

I saw in 世界日報 (World Journal), in the Entertainment section of 8/10/08 that Yesung fell off the stage during the rehearsal of their song Pajama Party in the KBS Music Bank. He fell the distance of 150 centimeters. He said he felt pain in his shoulders, I think. They immediately called for an ambulance and Yesung was escorted to the hospital. The he got transferred to another hospital to be examined more closely. He didn't perform that day. Let's all pray for him to have a fast recovery. Get well! Yesung hwaiting!

New Stuff

Wow I have been on the recieving end this week! Well, do school supplies count?

Yesterday, I got a red-purple polka dot, 4-subject notebook (my 1st time seeing a 4-subject notebook), a Domo-kun folder, book covers, and a Camp Rock folder. The notebook came with a free 1-year subscription to Cosmo!girl magazine. I went into Target thinking I would get like patterned or animal folders but instead Jonas Brothers (of course), Demi Lovato, and Domo-kun are on the covers of my folders. I got 3 new book covers. a swirly looking one, a striped one, and one with rows and rows of (mostly) blue hearts. And today...I'm so happy because I got The Second Album of Super Junior and their movie Attack on the Pin-Up Boys.

I watched Attack on the Pin-Up Boys before but I got it anyway. The movie, to me is...weird and not really Oscar worthy if it were in America. But its a movie you just watch because you feel like it.

The Second Album comes with a DVD that plays in all regions, which makes me so happy. The CD has 14 songs and the DVD has 1. Marry U Jacket Sketch 2. Prologue 3. Relay Talk 4. Member Personal Story! "Talk to Myself!" 5. Epilogue 6. Don't Don music video Making Film 7. Don't Don music video (version 1) 8. Marry U music video Making Film. Sadly the DVD does not have English subs so I had to guess what they were saying with the few Korean words I knew, but for some, I watched the subbed videos on http://www.youtube.com/. I can happily dance the chorus of Don't Don with Super Junior dancing along on my TV!

This is a sub group of Super Junior. They aren't that new though, they debuted in June. Super Junior Happy is kinda like Super Junior Trot (Suju-H doesn't sing trot) but with Yesung instead of Heechul and without the crazy sequined suits. Instead they have dressed like school students perhaps. Eunhyuk almost always has a backpack on. Their *Cooking? Cooking! and *Pajama Party music videos are the cutest I have ever seen. The dance steps in the music videos are very easy to do (and very cute). I never really paid much attention to them until my friend told me she got al the songs and that they were really cute. So the supposed luckiest day in Chinese culture has arrived and so has the 2008 summer Olympics. All the athletes 加油! Bring some gold medals back to the USA! I saw Hangeng's leg of the torch run thingy and it was like 5 seconds to the next person. I was like O_O" thats it?! Anyway the opening ceremony in the USA is in 2ish hours away and I'm gonna have to record it because I'm going to church. It's 7:30-12:00 pm! Thats a really long ceremony. The people who actually saw the Olympics in person are so lucky! It must have been amazing.

Congratulations to Super Junior who won Favorite Artist of Korea. They beat Big Bang, Wonder Girls, and Girl's Generation. Super Junior hwaiting! I'm so happy because I voted for them like 5 times! :D Siwon's English makes your heart melt!

Well, school starts on the 18th for me. Yeah, I know, sucks right. That's not the worst part...I have to wear tube socks! I don't even know where to get them! But I got time, I need to get my other school supplies too. It was only this year that I realized how many trees we kill on notebooks alone not mentioning other stuff like binders, backpacks, pencils, etc. So I have made a vow to buy less and reuse more.

I was watching Brain Battle guest starring T.O.P, Taeyang, and Seungri from Big Bang and Supernova, I think. they're actually really good at math, lol. And everytime they solved a math problem right they did the "Baby, Baby, Baby" dance from Last Farewell.

So my life hasnt changed much since school let out. My summer school is OVER (that reminds me of a Super Junior song). Just updating my blog which I havent done in a while. So hello in a long time!
Lets see...Im currently need to watch episode 4 (Eternal) of Vacation with 東方神起/DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki, whatever you wish to call them and I think it's a really good theater drama so far...I havent watched the whole thing yet. Maybe today.
Im also trying to continue watch They Kiss Again/惡作劇2吻 but I think it's boring at some times which caused me to stop watching for uhhh a few months. But I have to watch it for 王子 from 棒棒堂/Lollipop.

So my family got mail yesterday and it was about a gang related shooting in my neighborhood. I had no idea about it too. It was on 6/26. I was pretty busy that day though. First from like 9:00 to 12:30, I was at church helping with VBS. Then I went home and stayed there until 5:00 to get medicine for my grandma and going to Hilltop. Hilltop is like the best stationary shop ever. Almost everything is Korean. I got rose scented origami paper...it had directions on how to make a rose, but it was all in Korean...I got to like step 10 and got stuck. Then I wento to dance at like 6:00 to 7:00 and I got home at 7:45ish. My mom said she heard a few loud sounds at night but didn't go outside to chek what it was.

Im watching a new drama right now!! It's called The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince. In it is Yoon Eun Hye, former Baby V.O.X member. She was also in Goong (Princess Hours), Nonstop 6 (Rainbow Romance) with Kim Kibum and Kim Heechul, and The Vineyard Man. I don't like her cheeks for some odd reason though. I think she got plastic surgery on them. Like sucked the fat out or something. I asked my mom, she said that it was possible. Anywayyy, the drama is pretty good right ow but I'm only on episode 13/17.

Ahh...Sorry for no posts in such a long time, 6 days, lol. But I've been watching mini-dramas, variety shows, whatever I could find that had Super Junior in it. So far I've watched Super Junior Full House, Exploration of the Human Body, and the last episode of Mystery 6..didn't want to watch the whole thing because it seemed scary. I wonder if they're gonna get back together for 2008 Summer SM Town. I hope so. Splitting up in to groups...Super Junior M isn't even in South Korea anymore. Kibum and Heechul haven't been singing for a while. Kibum isn't even in a subgroup, Heechul is but Super Junior T hasn't been much ever since Rokkugo because they've ditched Heechul and added Yesung to become Super Junior H.

Today, for the last day of school, we went to the SJSU Library to go to the John Steinbeck Center and see our Passport to Literature project. We also answered some questions...for prizes of course. I got a framed two pictures of John Steinbeck when he was a kid, his younger sister Mary, his dad John, and his pony Jill in front of their house in Salinas. Wow I learned a lot. And I got a signed by the artist copy of a portrait she paintedof John Steinbeck. Does that make sense? It was #81 of 800. And everybody got a free poster of John Steinbeck. I was so touched at how much the guy gave away, I donated money and then the prizes to my English teacher for a end of the year present I guess. I got Togo's and drinks from Quickly. My friend ran to the front of the line of Togo's and ordered for us both while I was the first person at Quickly and I rdered for us both. Were so smart. We were like the first ones to sit down and eat our lunches. Im gonna miss her andall of my friends during the summer. Please pray for one particular who did not feel very good this morning and had to miss out on all of the fun. Well Ill see her and the other peeps over the summer becuase of a few words: sleepovers, shopping, telepathy (jk), IM, and we'll find ways.

What a great way to end the year. I couldnt have it any better. ♥ I am gonna miss 7th grade year even if it was kinda awkward/weird. Ill never forget our class of immature, procrastinating, loud, obnoxious monkeys. But then I still have next year until we really split up and go our own ways.

The dance was on Wednesday, yesterday in fact, and it was absolutely amazing how they decorated The Decathlon Club. Movie Posters everywhere, the stars the 8th graders made hanging on the window outside, the huge Made of Honor and Ironman movie uhh cardboard stands to stand next to and take our crazy pictures. In the end therewas a raffle for the The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian poster. Almost all the 7th grade girls wanted it, including me. And guess who won it. Me! Its as big as my bed and my bed is pretty big. Eerybody got little keychains and I still have my winning raffle ticket. In the end, we realized we would miss everybody even the people we didnt like so much. But let me tell you how I got there...It all started in Sarah's car. we had to go to Cece's house to get some forgotten stuff, and you wouldnt believe how crazy her dog is. *Shivers* I normally love dogs but this one was so energetic andcrazy I was thefirst out of her house! Then at Sarah's house we had messed up hair curlers, lip gloss in the totally wrong shade, and mascara and eyeliner in our eyes. At least it was for me. After all the make-up and hair was done and everybody had their dresses on, we were on our way. It was a god thing that we got out of the door early...because we got lost. Kenny's typing reaches a level where it cant spell D-E-C-A-T-H-L-O-N, I guess because wegot a totally wrong address, maybe of the Deathlon Club or something. We had to call our PE coaches. First coach, straight to voicemail. Second coach, he picked up. Turns out we were going the wrong direction. Oh well, at least we got there.

I was at the National Cathedral in Washington DC and I bought a Smencil. I got the chocolate scented one and my friend got the watermelon scented one. The best pert is that theyre made of 100% recycled newpapers. I dont know about the eraser and the metal pert holding the eraser to the pencil is recycled newspaper though, but they say the whole thing is 100% recycled newspaper. I want more so I need to find somewhere that sells them. Theres http://www.smencils.com/ but that's $12 for 10 of them. I just need 9. I went on http://www.smencils.com/ and found that they sold like boxes of bins of these, kits to make them yourself, and other stuff. Its really cool. My school should do one of their fundraisers. Id actually buy something for once.

Hello! Im back from Washington DC and NYC! Everything was really fun except for going to sleep...and waking like 6 hours later. Everybody was so exhausted, there was not one bench we did not like to sit in and snooze for a few seconds. Everybody took naps on the bus including, and I got a few pictures of people sleeping...the good, the bad, and the ugly. I saw Wicked and it was amazing! The people, the voices, everything. But do you know what really killed me? NOT ENOUGH SHOPPING TIME TO EVEN GET AN I ♥ NY SHIRT!!! But whats fnny is that I got an I ♥ DC shirt instead.

Anyway coming back to lovely California...I went to the church picnic. It was fun, I guess. I was freezing cold though and I see almost everyone wearing like shorts and a t-shirt. Then I saw Secret with Jay Chou. He was the director too. It amazed how good at piano he was.
Sunday, church was fun. I stayed so long because of a few meetings but I wasn't bored because everybody else stayed too. Im craft again but this year, its different. Im a station instead of one per class.

I think Im adicted to Korean pop now. I havent listened to 棒棒堂 or 飛輪海 in such a long time. Its just been Super Junior, DBSK, and Big Bang. Especially Super Junior-M, but technically that counts as Mandarin.

I really like Super Junior now for some reason. Even though there were 13 of them and they split up into like little sub bands under Super Junior like M, T, K.R.Y. One of them is Chinese and you have to hear the Chinese version of U. I have way more of their sngs than of DBSK and Big Bang even though I first heard them about the same time.

*Sorry for so many posts today. I guess I'm trying to manke up for all the days I'm going to miss in the week to Washington DC/NYC!! I'm so excited!

Ok,well we were supposed to have PE but who knows what happened so we were online. I couldn't go on my email, I couldn't even go on this! I got caught and was forced to sign out. I mean I understand not being able to go on Myspace and everything but email?! Ok maybe I understand that too but seriously doesn't that just make our school even worse. I mean our 3 ft by 3 ft school can't get any worse. No trees for shade, it's like a desert outside! Come on, plant some freakin trees!! Let me get some reviews for this lovely lovely school...ok nevermind most of them were actually good to my surprise. Probably because it was for the elementary school and preschool. Anyway, in the category of school...my trip to Washington DC! I can't wait...

On Friday, I went to Great America. I realized if the rating for the ride is above 4, I'll chicken out except for the Rip Roaring Rapids. I'd ride that a million times. And I screamed my throat out and spent like $10 on candy. Suh a smart decision. After I went to church. Yepp, not much after that except...

On Saturday, ugh Chinese school. But then I went to the Great Mall...at 3:00 pm. I was waiting for my dad who was waiting for me and my mom who was waiting for my dad. So I was listening to my iPod to pass the time. Then we finally got to the mall...After that, I went to Jim's house. It was fun I guess. The board games, the secreat meeting, the sushi, the someone...

I got hairbands, an Aeropostale hoodie, and a bag from Amuse. I couldn't find the picture of the hairbands from http://www.anchorblue.com/ and I couldn't find a website for Amuse.

On Sunday, good old church. Yepp, everything's usual there. After that I went to Michael's and I finally got the words and the ribbon. And guess what, the ribbon fits through the little staple in the back of the word! The words I got were Dream, Laugh, Smile, Live, RELAX, wish, and HOPE. I was sad when there was no more wood words for love, there was last time I went which was with Alex and Leslie. And the words are either in purple, yellow, teal, light blue, or green. So I'm going to have to do something to them before I put them up. The ribbon is cream, and really thin. I went home and did my history homework...kinda. I still need to finish it though, lol! I bought some songs on iTunes...

My friend was over and she showed me the phone she wanted so I was like, "Ok, I'll show you the ones I want!" and here I am with several pictures of phones! I found out today, I mostly like the phones you push up insteasd of opening!
Seriously, what girl does not want a pink phone lol! It kinda looks like the Chocolate. Hey the Chocolate does come in pink too, lol! Kneeslapper!

The Chocolate is pretty nice. I liked it before but the new model is not that good in my opinion but I like the color!I think its the one on Brown Sugar Macchiato. But maybe not in red, maybe in purple...or black!

I'm thinking of redecorating my room. I went to my friend's house and Michael's (the best craft store in the whole world) yesterday. I bought a purple wood thingy that says i♥u for $1. I totally regret just buying 1. There were really good words like dream, live, laugh, love, friends, and hope. And Alex's room was a totallly big inspiration to redecorate my room!

Oh I heard the last episode of They Kiss Again airs today. Too bad I'm still on episode 1!

Ok, its been almost a week since I got my braces. Life has been hectic. I missed a history homework and my history techer gave this big talk about late homework (to the whole class, if that makes it better). I was like, "I almost never missed any homework assignments my whole life and I missed 1 and I get a talk!" I got a science fair project which equals too much work in too little time! SAT 10s are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. At least I don't have t studdy, haha! I'm getting baptised tomorrow! I am very anxious right now! AHHH! The Best Damn Thing by Avril Lavigne is stuck in my head right now. I knew that song I just didn't know what it was called, lol. Silver honor roll+Hero award=new earphones! Let's seeee, what else. Oh, nothing much moree!

I got braces on Monday! Its been 3 days already and I already had to go back to get a piece of floss out! Yes, I know Im pathetic. My teeth hurt sooo much that first afternoon...and the second day. Now its better if I dot bite down but it still is well ummm, like I can feel my heart beating on my teeth. It feels like after I run a mile but my teeth are clenched together and my canines hurt so much more! And not to mention eating! I am such a foodie and getting braces made me realize all the food I cant have. I had cup of noodles for the past 3 days. My friend gave me a box of chocolate for my birthday from Hawaii and I cant eat them! I LOVE CHOCOLATE!! Yepp, my pain. I wonder when Ill stop feeling my heartbeat on my teeth, lol. Some people say a few days, some say a few weeks. Ay!

So this is the drama I'm watching right now. I think it's pretty good. It features Jiro and Arron ffrom Fahrenheit! Ariel Lin is cute and Joe Cheng plays his part really well. It's not that easy playing a genius with an IQ of 200 that likes a girl from Class F-the dumbest class and ating cool. If that akes sense... Alot of girls like him including Pei Zi Yu played by ummm I don't know, lol. But anyway it's really good, you should watch it if you get the chance. I can't wait to finish this one and watch the sequel!
